Sicario: Day of the Soldado

This film is a perfect example of why I see most movies alone.  I almost always enjoy the ride, and few others share my enthusiasm.

Hotel Artemis

The only creative thing about this film is the inventive name of the characters ranging from Waikiki, Niagara, Honolulu, Acapulco and Everest.

Ocean’s 8

This film reminded me of Book Club only with talented actresses 20 years younger.

Molly’s Game

Despite the fact that this film lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes, trial lawyers in particular are likely to enjoy the ride.

Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri

Simply an outstanding movie experience.

Murder on the Orient Express

Who would have thought that Hercule Poirot was as cold-blooded as a penguin?

Loving Vincent

Van Gogh’s torment immediately before and after his death are vividly played out in a captivating manner.

Suburbicon

Suburbicon is a godawful disaster by any definition. It is as pointless as it was insulting.
