Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

This is a challenging film made for adults, not children.

Sing 2

Ripped by many critics, I loved this film. On top of that, great family entertainment.

Luca

This is a film that gives an emotional meaning to the old phrase “a fish out of water,” with an ending that will bring a Hammerle tear to your eye.

Raya and The Last Dragon

This joyful film is Disney at its best.

Soul

In light of the failed coup attempt in Washington on January 6, this excellent movie by Pixar became a meaningful one.

Onward

Not a bad film, but not a great one by Pixar standards.

Call of the Wild

Please be warned. My cryptic surgeon friend loved the cinematography and special effects while disliking the film. Then again, why trust a surgeon?

Frozen II

This is a billon dollar box office smash for a very good reason.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Zombieland: Double Tap

If you take five years and longer to make a sequel, trouble awaits on the horizon.
