Paddington 2

I saw this film with my skeptical 19 and 16-year-old grandchildren. We all loved it. Enough said.

Movie Reviews

While the demand from the holidays has kept me from reviewing films in my traditional format, let me give you a brief synopsis of five of them.

Wonder

Wonder, directed with charm by Stephen Chbosky, is a movie that all children of any age should see, particularly when sitting next to parents who will be constantly wiping tears from their eyes.

The Boss Baby

I’ll only say that I loved Boss Baby and I predict that most of you will also.

Beauty and the Beast

Walt Disney might have left us but his genius lives on as seen in this delightful film.

The LEGO Batman Movie

While it will likely challenge in other areas, this endearing little film could very well win next year’s Oscar in the animated film category.

Sing

This little film may be the finest musical of 2016.

Moana

You know the music is going to be special when it involved inspiration from Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Trolls

This is one of those tiny little animated films that you ignore to your detriment.
