You know a movie is in trouble when you secretly hope the bad guy wins.
You know a movie is in trouble when you secretly hope the bad guy wins.
This film is every bit as stunning as Wonder Woman.
This is a colossally entertaining film with a social significance that makes it special.
Even though I am very fond of this film, what happens to spouses makes it unlikely that it will be shown at any couples’ retreat.
You would think it would be impossible for Tom Hanks and Emma Watson to appear in a below average film. But as the old saying goes, “Not anymore.”
For big budget Marvel and sci-fi monster films, I doubt you will see a better one than the Guardians sequel.
This is one of those films where the previews make it seem more appealing than the actual film itself.
Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernik, who brought us last year’s superb Deadpool, should keep their talented feet firmly on Earth.
Go see it while disguised as an escapee from a mental institution. It beats solitary confinement.
