Rating: In describing Franco’s wizard, “Great and Powerful” does not come to mind.
Director Singer’s film has already been unfairly dismissed as a lost cause. It’s actually a fun ride, particularly if you can coax a teenager to see it with you.
There is magic with any journey that begins in The Shire, particularly if Gollum lurks. Rating: Needs to be seen at the IMAX if possible, but at least in 3D.
If you really want to see a good vampire movie, then go watch Tim Burton’s comic understated joy, Dark Shadows, which starred Johnny Depp. Rating: This is a film better seen at home… Continue reading
