You’re on Your Own at the Theater for a Week
First of all, we survived a splendid snowmobiling trip to Yellowstone, though my grandchildren still believe that I put their lives in danger. I continue to react with indignation, telling them, “How dare you criticize your grandfather when we lived!”
In any event, I have long been a firm believer in traveling, and we’re off to Belize to scuba dive for a week. Since the temperature in Yellowstone ranged from 10 to 20 below at night, I think it may be a bit warmer in Belize.
So you are on your own for a week when it comes to movies, and I will be back in the saddle February 12th. I know you are eager (okay, semi-eager) to see my Oscar predictions, so I’ll get them out to you before the awards ceremony at the end of this month.
Before my first dive, I’m going to remember the great quote from Robert Shaw in the classic film Jaws (1975),
“Cage goes in the water, you go in the water.
“Shark’s in the water. Our shark.
“Farewell and adieu to you, fair Spanish ladies.”
