The Rhythm Section

Not a bad movie if you are bored and left with nothing else to do.

Just Mercy

This is a stunning movie with historical significance that at times left me crying as I buried my face in my hands.

1917

A poetic historical film recreating the human tragedy inflicted on little people during World War I.

A Hidden Life

Lasting for 2 hours and 45 minutes, writer/director Terrence Malick once again finds a way to let a movie’s length rob the film of its dramatic importance.

Bombshell

This film demonstrates that Fox News, much like our President, wears shame as a badge of honor.

Little Women

This is a girl-powered film that is simply magnificent. Many in the theatre, including me, applauded as it concluded.

Richard Jewell

Other than the expected brilliant performance by Kathy Bates, this is a film that is likely to disappear quickly from the big screen.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

This is an overrated film. If you want to see a brilliant story about Fred Rogers, hunt down the documentary, Will You Be My Neighbor? (2018).

The Two Popes

When I was a kid, eating meat on Friday was a Mortal Sin. Need I say more about the need for change in Rome?
