Despicable Me 4

I saw it alone. Do yourself a favor and see it with children.

Despicable Me 4

I saw the original Despicable Me alone in 2010 and learned a lesson. The theatre was crowded and I sat next to two children who were there with their mother. When I said “Hi” to a little girl, the mother moved the family to another row!

In the present film, I worried that security would remove me as a suspected pedophile! I overcame my doubt and enjoyed the film.

While this film will not rival Inside Out 2 as the best animated film of the year, kids will have a good time. After all, find one who doesn’t love the Minions.

In short order, Gru (Steve Carell) is trying to deal with both a tormenting baby son and Maxime LeMal (Will Farrell), an escape criminal seeking revenge. Gru is forced to take his wife (Kristen Wiig) and family into hiding while the police hunt down Maxime with the help of a group of Minions.

And there you have the film. In a sense, it functions as a stage comedy that produces some adult laughter. However, not as much as from kids 10 and under. You know what I mean.
